Primax 2019 Announcement of results The winning formula of Primax 2019 in both A and B categories: a(n) = 6*(n^2+n)+31 This formula gives 75 primes in the interval [1,100] and 135 in the interval [1,200]. By comparison, the famous Euler formula (whose use was excluded by the application rules) gives 86 primes in the [1,100] interval and 156 primes in the [1,200] interval.
The winning bid starts with 29 prizes, while the Euler formula gives 40
prizes. The announcer is pleased to note that on the one hand, many interesting other formulas have been encountered, and on the other hand, the formulas and reflections submitted have greatly contributed to the further development of the scheme. We thank all applicants, writers, contributors and supporters. The announcer and expected number of participants will publish their results and experiences in professional forums in the near future. For this purpose, we kindly recommend the Acta Mundi online site and the Primax Facebook page in addition to the existing prestigious magazines. Thanks again for your participation and attention, we look forward to seeing you again in the spirit of Primax 2020.
